Tasks For The Taking

CAN YOU LEND A HAND? 

There are many small tasks that need to be done regularly or occasionally. 

If you can assist, please tell Victoria in the church office or any member of the Council  ~ Thanks!

 SUNDAY MORNING: 

Pick up bagels for coffee hour 

Clean the glass doors before Sunday worship 

Light/extinguish altar candles 

Set up/clean up after communion 

Clean up coffee hour 

Count offering 

Start coffee 

Straighten pews before service 

Straighten pews after service 

Check toilet paper, replace as needed 

Check paper towels, replace as needed 

 WEEKDAYS: 

Fold and staple bulletins 

Refill altar candles with oil 

Change the hymn boards 

Decorate for holidays/festivals 

Set up coffee hour  (Saturday)

Bake communion bread 

Change paraments 

Empty waste cans/bins 

OUTDOORS: 

Watering/weeding/mulching the gardens and flower pots

Trim shrubs 

Blow dirt and leaves off the front field path, driveway 

Mow the property

Empty outdoor trash container & Smokers Outpost
