Welcome to The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit! We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:

 Atmosphere

Our traditional service is formal but our atmosphere is casual. Please come as you are! Our service is liturgical and based on the Evangelical Lutheran Worship hymnal. We worship with song, listen to the Word of God proclaimed in scripture and preaching, and celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion weekly. All are welcome to worship with us. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive the Eucharist (Communion)

 Family Friendly

All kinds of families are welcome at The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, and we're excited to welcome you into our church family! We have a nursery available for infants and children if you choose to use it, but children are always welcome during worship

 Sermon

Our Pastor preaches based on the scripture readings for the day, helping us to explore the texts and apply them to our modern, everyday lives. Sermons are typically 10-20 minutes in length.

 Biblical Teaching

Here at The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. We take the scriptures seriously, not literally, and we strive to understand what God is saying to us through the ancient texts. We offer periodic Bible studies to help us dig deeper into God's Word, forming us into better disciples of our Living Lord.
