The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit is blessed to have a leadership team who are truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. Following are brief bio's of our key leadership team and their qualifications for ministry. In addition, listed are the current council members.
Denise Ross
Council President
Denise has been a faithful member of LCHS along with her Mom and sister for many years. She is always willing and able to take on any project.
Reverend Wayne Plumstead
Interim Pastor
After numerous weeks of serving as LCHS Supply Pastor, it was LCHS' honor to call Reverend Wayne Plumstead to become our Interim Minister, effective July 1, 2025.
Wayne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in News-Editorial from the Drake University School of Journalism in Des Moines, Iowa (1970) and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary (1974).
He has been described as a thoughtful and compassionate servant, a good administrator, a gifted preacher, and a pastor who leads congregations to grow in vitality.
Susan Chin
Council Vice President
Susan is a lifelong Lutheran and first year Seminarian, working toward her MDiv at United Lutheran Seminary. She has been a member of LCHS since she and her husband Scott moved to the area in 2022. Susan brings a wealth of experience, helping to keep the congregation running smoothly.

We are so grateful to have two talented keyboardists who lift our hearts and help create a space where we feel closer to God. Whether it's a joyful anthem or a quiet prayerful moment, their playing adds much beauty and meaning to our services.
